«On abstraction» & other poems en BOMB Magazine

When I was young, an older poet asked me for twenty dollars
to rent a computer for an hour. I offered to lend him mine. But he insisted
it had to be that computer. Then, he offered to sell me a radiograph
of the cancer in his mother’s bones for ten.
I gave him the twenty.
